Doing the schedule was simple, I did it on Microsoft Word with three columns; one for the date it should be finished by, one for the task and the last one for completed.

After I finished the schedule I moved on to do the story boards.

I made the story board using Microsoft PowerPoint. I drew the scenes using the drawing toolbar tools and by using clipart. I written notes for each scene so when I print the storyboard it will have the image and notes all lined up for me.

We visited Yorkshire sculpture park on 18^th October 2007, to capture the footage we need to work in groups as there wasn’t enough video cameras for everyone. I was working with Harjit, Jack, Daryl and Jahni. We took the camera to shoot footage we need for our own videos, as we was in a big group with only one camera; there was times when we needed the camera at the same time, this made us go back and record the same area several times as required for each of us and sometimes we didn’t get a shot in because the camera was being used. We ended up with approximately 1hour of footage witch is more that enough for all of us. On the 25^th October 2007 we was supposed to download the footage to our hard drives but since Harjit is the only one of us with a hard drive we had to save all the footage onto his and get the footage when we get our own hard drives.

EPS stands for encapsulated PostScript.

PCX (*.PCX)

The PCX file format was developed by the ZSoft Corporation.
It was the native file format for PC Paintbrush and became one of the first widely accepted DOS imaging standards. It has resently been replaced by more sophisticated image formats such as GIF, JPEG, and PNG.
There is a multi-page version of PCX which is used by some computer fax and document management programs, using the file extension DCX.

JPEG (.JPG, .JPEG, *.JPE)

JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group, JPEG’s are commonly used method of compression for photographic images.
a standard JPEG specifies both the codec, which defines how an image is compressed into a stream of bytes and decompressed back into an image, and the file format used to contain that stream.

Compuserve GIF (*.GIF)

GIF stands for Graphics Interchange Format, it is an 8-bit-per-pixel bitmap image format that was introduced by CompuServe in 1987, since then it has come to a wide spead on the internet due to its wide support and portability.
It uses a palette of up to 256 colors from the 24-bit RGB colour space.
It also supports animations and allows a separate palette of 256 colours for each frame, but the colour limitation makes it unsuitable for colour photographs or images with contiuous colour, but it is well-suited for simple graphics or logo’s with solid areas of colour.

Large Document Format (*.PSB)

The .PSB (Photoshop Big) format is a newer version of .PSD designed for files over 2 gigabytes

Photoshop (.PSD, .PDD)

This is the default format for Photoshop, the file size tends to be large as it save relevant information for all the layers, channels and effect to maximize the editing capabilities. Once finished with your image in this format you can save it in another to reduce the file size.
The .PDD (PhotoDeluxe Document) format is a version of .PSD that only supports the features found in the discontinued PhotoDeluxe software.

Vectors and Rasters

Vector and Raster Vector graphics (also called geometric modeling or object-oriented graphics) is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and polygons, which are all based upon mathematical equations to represent images in computer graphics. On Raster graphics each pixel has an individually defined color; images in the RGB color space, for instance, often consist of colored pixels defined by three bytes — one byte each for red, green and blue. Less colorful images require less information per pixel; for example, an image with only black and white pixels requires only a single bit for each pixel.

Differences:

A vector logo can be made the size to be printed on a business card, and then enlarged to a huge size and keep the same crisp quality. A low-resolution raster graphic would blur incredibly if it were enlarged from business card size to a bigger size.
